Eques Solution’s welcomes Cavalia’s new show Odysseo to Miami. We are proud to be the equestrian promoter of such an amazing show. In Odysseo, 70 horses and 50 artists lead the viewer on a great journey where, together, they discover some of the planet’s most unforgettable landscapes. Cavalia’s new production marries the equestrian arts, stage arts and high-tech theatrical effects at never-before-seen levels. A veritable revolution in live performance, Odysseo comprises a list of superlatives: the world’s largest touring big top, the biggest stage, the most beautiful visual effects, and the greatest number of horses at liberty. Odysseo is a feast for the eyes that, despite its size, still succeeds in delivering the spectacular with soul. The show is currently performing in Miami’s Bicentennial Park. The 2012 Buck Off Is Here!!

The Buck Off is back!!! This year it is going to be bigger and better at our new location, the White Horse Tavern! The Buck Off is a mechanical bull riding contest to benefit Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center. We will be holding three preliminary rounds, three Thursdays in a row, Jan 19th, Jan 26th and Feb 2nd. The winning team of each Thursday will compete in the final Buck Off at the Vinceremos Annual Dinner, Dance, and Auction on February 10th.These three teams will challenge last years champion, Team CWD.

Everyone is welcome to ride, if you don’t have a team someone may recruit you to be on a team!

Practice is from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, then the real riding begins!

2011 Equestrian Season Economic Impact Report

The Palm Beach County Sports Commission has recently sent out the 2011 Equestrian Season Economic Impact Report. This report gives a breakdown on how the equestrian industry impacts the economy in Palm Beach County. Here are a few of the facts:

Estimated that the total expenditures (human and horse related) attributed to the 2011 Equestrian Season were $185,451,115

Of this amount $120,759,093 were related to the Winter Equestrian Festival (Hunter/Jumpers)
$20,602,836 were related to Polo and $44,089,186 related to Dressage

VTRC Mechanical Bull Riding Standings

Congratulations to the Floridian Community Bank Team for their big win on the January 27th competition! They will advance to the final Buck Off at the VTRC Dinner/Auction on February 28th.

VTRC Mechanical Bull Riding Contest!

Get Bucked Off For A Good Cause!

Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center is bringing back the Bull! Back by popular demand, VTRC has turned their bull-riding event into a three round competition. Teams must compete to win a place in the “Final Buck Off” which will take place during the annual VTRC Dinner/Auction at the International Polo Club on the evening of February 18^th2011. The preliminary rounds will be held on Ladies Night at the Player’s Club on Thursday, January 27th, Thursday, February 3rd, and Thursday, February 1oth.

The winning team of each preliminary round will compete against the reining champions from last year, the Bad Boy Vets. Each team will consist of four riders, if you don’t have a team, come ride anyway and someone may recruit you to be on their team!

This will be the most exciting event of the season. Gather up your friends or anyone you might know that can stay on a 1-ton raging, bucking machine for 8 seconds and join us at the Players Club!

Jump For A Cause

Jump For A Cause is a team jumping competition to benefit the American Parkinson’s Disease. The teams will consist of 3 riders to jump 3 different height courses in relay format. The first rider will jump a short course of 2′3″-2′6″ fences as the rider lands from the last jump the second rider will start the course of 2′9″-3′ jumps and as the second rider finishes the third rider will start the final course of 3′3″-3′6″. The fastest team wins.
